HNSearch is powered by ThriftDB, which is a flexbile key-value datastore with ad-hoc search built-in. ThriftDB was built by Octopart, Inc. Octopart developed ThriftDB to power the Octopart PartBrowser and the Octopart electronic part and datasheet search engine.
